I need some time to rid my stress. This world is far from paradise. But I'll still find some place to rest, Maybe the tropics will suffice.
The beauty of the lush terrain Is calming me, to say the least. The tranquil seas make me more sane, As does this never ending feast.
And yet I'm still empty inside, I cannot seem to fill the gap. And all these golden fields of pride Feel, to me, much like a trap.

The siege of my soul has suddenly ceased. It seems the world is finally at peace. I try to see if it's still there. There's more damage than I can bear. I look some more inside myself. See if my sanity's in good health. I survey the damages for the very first time. The men's destruction is a crime. Everything has turned to soot My body's scorched from head to foot.
